Recced Because: There are many fics that involve a misunderstanding. This is one of them. Plus Cain has a romance novel stuffed in his sock drawer, which immediately makes this a Must Read. As for the poetic 'I love this thing' part, you can never go wrong with andrealyn. She definitely has a way with words and brilliant timing in this fic (along with everything else she writes). It's beautiful, highly entertaining, and, best of all, well-written.

Recced Because: Back in December of 2007, when Tin Man fandom was peeking its itty bitty head out of the snow, this story came out. To this day, it remains one of my favorite Glitch-centric pieces. It's written in a way that sounds much like Glitch probably thinks, and it makes a very, very disturbing bit of sense. And yes, it says it's Glitch/Cain, but I could easily see it as a very, very worried best friend. AKA if you don't like slash or the pairing, don't worry, you can read it anyway. ♥

Warnings: Mild angst, mild adultery, but it's all mild.

Recced Because: This fic covers a period of time that many don't. Honestly, I'd never even really realized that there would be a time when they would see what was coming, and they have nothing to do but sit back and wait as long as they can for the trainwreck to happen. It's riveting in a surprisingly calm way. My obsession with tiny details shows up again, too.
