He knew they didn’t mean to make him uncomfortable. They were friends. Fellow fighters. They wouldn’t intentionally inflict harm on him.

Recced because:  A nice little one-shot to wake up and read first thing in the morning.  Warm, quiet, and slightly sweet as Cain finally lets down his guard.

They took up shelter in a little hidden cottage, held up with more vines and growth than actual wood and nails. It was small but comfortable enough with its two rooms that were on either side of the dwelling, the common area in the center to connect them.

Recced because: This one-shot was published on 12/7/2007. It is a nicely written pre-series piece whose inspiration may have been "The Portrait" of Ambrose and the Queen.  For those who like the Ambrose/Glitch/Queen pairing, this is another story that deserves to be dusted off once in awhile and re-read.

Recced because:  It's hard to believe that the first part of Tin Man aired on 12/2/2007, nearly one year ago.  This story, All Right, published on 12/7/2007, was not only in one of the first batches written, but also one of the first ones to include Raw as well.  For only being 454 words, it gives a quick and accurate snapshot of our characters.  Well done!

Recced Because:  I've double-checked thegraygale  and I cannot find this story.  How did it get missed?  Seriously.  It's been said time and time again that the mini-series did not do Raw justice and this story proves it.  Raw's point-of-view on the world has been expertly handled.  Of Glitch, Raw sees him as a jagged, tattered rainbow of bright thoughts, hope, sadness, and incredible courage.  Well done.

Author's Summary:  The world is a much larger place than just the O.Z. and there are far more dangers within it than just the old Witch. Two and half years after her defeat, DG and the others find that out.

Recced because: This is a WIP that the author has not updated since forever.  Only one chapter was posted on tinman_ficbut even with a few grammar/spelling errors, it was a very strong start and I wished that there was more.  All of the cast are in character and there's alot of ideas to work with.  Here's a little teaser, Cain reunites with his father and I'll agree with the other comments, I do see Whistler (from Blade) in him.

Feeling slightly drained, DG opened her eyes and saw a flower that looked identical to the one she had imagined and sprung forward. Granted, it wasn’t as large as the one she imagined - she was still only getting the hang of this spell - but it had worked. For once it had worked.

Recced because: This is a nice little story (four chapters) to read with a cup or two of morning coffee.  It takes place after Glitch's brain is replaced and it tells how DG and Glitch-Ambrose's relationship grew into love (and it comes with the "happy ending")

Recced because:  I wanted to try to find a hidden nugget that was neither listed on FF.net nor Livejournal.  (If anyone out there recognizes this story and can find the FF.net or Livejournal source I'll be happy to edit this post...)  From what little I stumbled across I feel that this is the best of the best.  It is post-series and I believe it offers a realistic glimpse into Azkadellia's mental anguish immediately following the defeat of the Witch.
