Recced because: Hot off the presses! Young Azkadellia is bewildered by a few details from "Snow White", and the irony piles on as her father tries to explain it. Quick, charming, and delightful, it captures another perfect day just before everything falls apart. ♥

Recced because: It's possible that, like so many uber-geniuses, there was a time when Ambrose's intelligence could have been mistaken for another sort of specialness (as parents would call it). He sees the world differently and he knows it, but it is impossible to explain and equally impossible for a parent to understand. watched-pot expresses this frustration beautifully, and includes her usual touches of vibrant detail (and Munchkin ancestry references :D ) that make me adore this little universe.

Recced because: This ranks as one of the more perfect post-series fics to me: post reverse-lobotomy complications? DG trying to find her place? Cain figuring out what to do with his life? Jeb being awesome? Az slowly recovering? All get check marks. Telegrams and letters exchanged? Oh yes, we got that too. But mostly we get family, and how you build one. Bright and hopeful and beautiful, I love it to bits.
