Recced because: You might want to grab a tissue before heading onto this one.  There isn't much about the unknown love story of Wyatt and Adora Cain that doesn't spark the romantic in all of us.  This story is sweet and poignant, giving the idea that our memories can be more beautiful than the reality.

Recced because: Simply put, Glitch is perfect in this story.  Creative and jumpy and sneaky and just a little bit muddled.  His attempts will make you smile, and his thoughts will make you sad, and what he notices ... well, you'll just have to read and see for yourself!  

Story: "Soon"

Author's summary: The most effective torture device is the pain of a loved one.
Characters/pairing: Cain, DG, Azkadellia
Warnings: This is a DARK story. There are references to torture and rape, though neither occur on-screen.

Recced because: This story is one of the ones that stayed with me. Its effectively tragic, and descriptively vivid. The ripples that continue outward after a shocking event touch not only those directly affected, but those left to sit and watch it all break apart... and then out of the ashes, rebuild. It is the hopeful ending that gives this story an edge, and I truly think that even if you don't 'ship C/DG, you should give this one a chance.

Author's summary: Sequel to "Soon".  In the aftermath of horror, sometimes running away is the right choice.

Warnings:  References to the dark material of the previous story.

Recced because: Sequel!  There is an empty echo to this story, the cries of a broken heart trying to mend.  Less graphic than its predecessor, but still as beautifully wrought, referring to what we do for those we love, and what we must do for ourselves.  I wish there had been more from this author...

Story: "Seven-Point-Three Days"

Recced because:  Oh, the boredom!  Oh, the loneliness!  What a week!  Cain is off on pleasure on business, and his friends are left to cope with his absence. This story isnt only full of humor and banter, it demonstrates how central the character of Wyatt Cain is to this fandom.  Without him, his friends are unable to do things as normal - even getting into trouble just isn't as fun... plus, there's artwork!
