Recced because: It's beautiful, heartbreaking, detailed, insightful and like nothing else I've read. Taking place in the the winter after Azkadellia's possession, this story shows us a tiny cross-section of life in the Palace. Ambrose is exactly as I imagine him, down to the tiniest detail of constantly carrying tools in his pockets for him to fiddle with.
