Recced because: Y'all might suspect that I'm reccing this simply as payback to blu, who rec'd the original some time ago. But that would be unfair to those who actually read this community for recommendations of excellent stories! No, I'm reccing this remix because it is exquisitely done.

Blu takes what was originally a straightforwardly-told flashback and turns it into a flickering collage of swirling images that tantalize the edges of Glitch's mind (and the reader's), generating a sense of loss that would be painful if it weren't also so beautiful. Her final twist made me wibble helplessly.

Recced because: Cain goes on a quest to find a runaway Glitch, which takes him past some old familiar faces (Demilo) and places (half the OZ). This fic shines with wonderful little details, an unexpected understanding discovered between two friends,and dialog that’s so delightfully IC it’s like watching another episode of the mini.

It’s very beautiful, very sad, it made me cry, it hurt, but we all get through it with a little help from our friends, and an Other Side theorist named Noether.

Recced because: Oh, those pesky little details that make the O.Z. so much more tangible. This drabble touches on one of those ephemera that make the O.Z. seem like a real place. Glitch is so beautifully in character and the last line just kills me.

Recced because: The first and only crossover with the "Return to OZ" film and it's *fantastic*. I absolutely adore the storyline using the very frightening "Princess Mombi" (for those who don't remember - she was the one with the interchangable heads). It's so original and intriguing and though I've read it several times now, it still fascinates me how well-blended and plausible this story is.
